It is a one-piece unit that covers the sides, bulkhead, floor and tailgate. The tailgate protection is a separate piece that attaches directly to the tailgate. The drop in's are great protection with only one flaw. If water gets between the liner and the bed it will create rust. Using a drop in with a tonneau cover is the ideal protection for the cost. The tonneau will help keep water from getting in the bed.

Spray in bed liners have become a booming business. They give incredible protection from scratches, dents and rust. This protect is sprayed directly over the factory painted finish. It is a watertight barrier from water and the elements. You can get the spray in liners in many colors that will match your paint job or show off the bed of your truck. The only downside to the spray in is that it is permanent. If you have this done it will be on the truck for life.

If you want to dress up the bed of your truck then some kind of bed carpet is the answer. They are normally made of a marine quality carpet with a thick rubber or foam backing. This backing makes the truck bed a more comfortable place. All these companies claim that their products are chemical resistant. They do keep items from sliding around in the bed. So if your truck is the family grocery getter then this is a wonderful product to have installed. It is attached with velcro type tape. You can use the bed carpet with or without a tonneau. If it gets we dirty or wet you can vacuum it out. This is a great product for those who want a little more of a classy look.
